I've booked my ticket for this day, the opening day of the Ayr Gold Cup meeting.

If anybody else plans to go, maybe we could arrange a get-together on the day?
 
Flights to Ayr are €25. I'm very interested in going.

Enjoy the day anyone going, I'm there on the Saturday, £19 return on the train was too tempting :)
 
Last wee bump for this.

I hope to check some of the form later today but it will mainly be a social day with betting kept to a bare minimum, probably no more than a fiver a race.

If I get home with about the same in my pocket as when I left I'll consider it a successful day but nothing compare with meeting up with fellow-forumites :)
 
Wish I was able to come along but first week of the semester and there is a lot going on at work, hope you all enjoy the day.

PS - note that the meeting starts earlier than originally advertised due to a race being divided. First race now 1.30pm.

I'll probably get the mid-morning bus down from Glasgow with a view to getting to the course nice and early.
