Ryanair - making a mistake?

Is there any aspect of air travel that isn't a complete nightmare these days? The whole industry deserves to go bankrupt.

Nightmare isn't even close!

When looking at where I'd like to go for a break, I now look at trains (from London) to the continent. I find the now typical airport experience detracts from what should be an enjoyable start to a break.

This latest madness of taking your shoes off is beyond funny.

I am willing to put up with most of it because I like to go to other places. The one thing that drives me mad is that it gives people who failed the IQ test for McDonalds power over me. (Security Staff). This is especially true in USA. I hate knowing that if I open me mouth I could be in the clink for 48 Hours.

I just booked a flight to Amsterdam, all in for £19 with Jet2. First leg of a voyage that will end at Longchamp a week later.
