Yes, it helped. And ofc I'm searching using the exact term. But it'll probably be showing for other terms. If I'd just called it 'today' I doubt if it would be competing in that way.
But the real illustration here is the inherent topical authority that TH has got. + the fact it's a forum, and user-generated content has been getting boosts in search for a while now. You still have to get the basics covered, though.
