It's Christmas eve and I'd like to wish everyone on the forum my very best wishes and good luck for the new year.

I always spare a thought for those who aren't as lucky as I am at this time of year with a roof over my head, family around me and huge amounts to eat and drink. If we look around the world, we do, indeed, live like royalty. There are those in our own country who can't take for granted the above, either.

Happy Christmas, you lot. 🥳🎄

And to you Yorick! I too am massively grateful that I am able to spend time with a lovely family enjoying the day. I have been in different circumstances not so long ago and count my blessings that my family and friends were there for me.

Happy Christmas forumites and happy and successful punting. 🍾🥂🏇

It's Christmas eve
Thanks for letting me know - that'll be why I've run out of doors and chocolates on my Cadbury's Advent Calendar....it was really annoying me!

I would spare a thought for everyone less fortunate than me but, seeing that's the entire rest of the planet, there really isn't the time.

Merry Christmas to all my (imaginary) friends here at TH and, as seasonal greetings cost nothing, if that's literally no one, Merry Christmas to all the indifferent and even the outright haters too.

YFUSA will, as ever be proroguing his Christmas Pressie to everyone until Boxing Day when he will unleash a Yuletide Multiple so cunning, conniving and wicked in its complexity - and consequently so lethal to the bookmaking industry - it would even make the utterly-shameless Walsworth blush!

"Merry Christmas, ya filthy animals!" 🎄

Have just got home from hospital with good news, I’m not getting worse! Have to return for bone marrow biopsy on New Years Eve though.

Wishing a Merry Christmas to everybody including that miserable old tart Diane Avis!

I echo the sentiments about people less well off than us, having seen the tents of homeless people on the traffic island on Euston Road outside UCLH.
