Its going up and up...

Having been to london bridge a few times lately can confirm that it is just as stunning close up as from a distance

There are many reasons not to like ken livingstone but his pushing for great buildings for london is not one of them

Even half built everyone who passes it or sees from a medium distance stares at what is going to be an iconic landmark
 
Has the H&S Exec done a recce yet, to determine whether sun (low-lying or high-flying) will refract off the glass so as to blind pilots, melt other buildings' bitumen felt, dazzle motorists and fritz the leaves off nearby trees? You know that as soon as the scaffold comes down, there'll be screams of protest about something!
