It's a 0/100 these days. Takes 4 hours for a post to go through and it's usually a double post.
 
My posts don't seem to double up, I use the quick reply function.
Is it a prob for people using phones? My Windows laptop doesn't give this issue. (famous last words!)
 
The posting time has got better I think the last couple of weeks possibly, but found that when it for the reply to go, just have to leave it while it thinks about it. I sometimes go to another window and either do something else or just open up the forum in another tab and carry on that way.

Not for me. I very rarely use a computer nearly always my iPhone

Thanks GG, that's worked fine for me.
 
You just have to leave them after hitting the button and let it get on with it. Sometimes if works fine, but if you've hit the button and nothing happens, you 'know' it's going to do it so don't hit the button again.
 
I’m doing as you suggest, but just get doubles and I’m getting fed up deleting one of them so just leaving them now. It needs sorting.

My last post was looking as if just sitting there, but I opened another tab and saw that it had gone through. That's the best way to deal with it for now until it's fixed.

It works (ctrl+r after to confirm).

You can also hit ctrl+r if the site is hanging (possibly don't risk if you've made a long post and can't ctrl+c the contents first).

I've never had any problems until today (use quick reply almost exclusively on pc).

Can confirm that the ctrl+r has worked twice for me now after hitting reply and experiencing a delay.

I used the Quick Reply and waited for probably 15 seconds and a pop up appeared saying "changes you have made might not be saved" with an option to "cancel" or "leave site". I chose "leave site".

Seems to work.

Hi all,

Thanks for the heads up on this. I think it's a combination of things happening here. Number one: the forum software needs a serious update, and I also need to move this forum to a different server. Works for me as well.
But sometimes it just double posts before that comes up.i just thought it was my dodgy signal.
