I managed to track one of these little babies down last week, & it's bloody fantastic. You don't need anything else - it's superb. Camera's great, MP3 player is great - or at least it would be if I could download some fecking songs onto it!!!! h:)

Been trying since 5pm to download 8 albums onto it & can I manage it?? Can I buggery. Has anyone had similar problems? The problem appears to be in the USB cable - it doesn't seem to be connectin properly. Sometimes it will transfer over 3 songs, sometimes 10, sometimes none - & sometimes it will wipe every song I had already downloaded onto the memory card h:) h:) :angy: It sdhows everything has having transferred fine but when I disconnect the USB cable is then shows up that nothing has transferred (or only 3 songs have) & it's driving me crazy! I've checked the cable several times, have repeatedly plugged/unplugged it from the phone end & the pc end to no avail....

I have found that Motorola's are indeed great - they have good cameras, good software etc.

The problem I have with them is that they are shit phones. The display is crap, usually breaks within 3-6 months, battery life is poor - and the speaker unit barely outlasts the display. They also have a supreme-life-improving function whereby they switch themselves off in the middle of phone calls / text messages.

A friend of mine works for Motorola. His personal phone was a Nokia. Now it's a Sony Ericsson.

Says enough for me anyway :D

I use a motorola v220 have not found a problem as yet? ....but its like most things you buy there's good and bad ones that come off the production line similar to cars you can swear by a product... but occasionally a bad egg appears in one of them............. :o sods law I call it.............

I have now had 3 different Motorola's within 2 years. Started off with a V525, then a Razor (it was completely useless from day one), then got V975, which is the most reliable. But it still has a crappy power supply and display.

Can't wait til this contract is up :brows:

To be fair, the phone does everything it says on the tin - and more. It's excellent, it really is. I reckon the problem is in the USB cable as it keeps disconnecting itself from the PC.
