State Man out for the season

Do you ever read the forum before posting, Maurice?

Tbf to you, does ANYONE read the forum before posting?

Me included?

Anyway, must dash - I just heard Shergar's been kidnapped, so I'm off to start a thread about it.

Consider the apology accepted, Ian.

I was out all day yesterday on a snooker session with my older brothers and didn't get home till after tea-time. By the time I headed up to the cave to catch up on stuff I saw the RP site with the "1hr" time fame indication and did that quick check to see if it was already mentioned.

It was obviously a very superficial check and I didn't realise the news was actually several hours old.

Thank you, Maurice.

I felt that you and I have got on so well historically (you were one of the most welcoming when I rejoined) that a bit of robust, even cutting, banter was acceptable, but we are all allowed to draw our individual lines in the sand, I have noted yours and will be mindful of it going forwards.

You are just about the last person I'd ever want to offend on this forum and I've greatly welcomed your recent return.

Well, I didn’t know as I rarely read any of the specific race threads.
I’m too busy checking for trainers in form at this point in time to worry about the future.

Reassuring, Walsey, to know that you aren't just working 30 days in arrears with your trainers in form project, but with racing news generally too - one can only admire the consistency!
