Ok this game pretty much kept me occupied between every race this cheltenham:

I can get every horse home 1st on the bridle apart from the 11-1 plodder (definate non stayer) where my best is 2nd without the whip.

With a couple of cracks down the back straight I can win comfortably. Top score 1196, have fun trying to beat that!

What a great game!!!! After finishing last by miles twice in a row, I won the 3rd race comfortably on the 5/1 shot!!

Good little game.

It annoys me that there has never been a quality horse racing game on the PC where u r the jockey.
Potentially I'm sure there's a great game out there.

Same here Arkwright. Why not copy the code from the Formula 1 series. Change the cars to horses, and the circuits to racetracks.....Group 1 jockey on the PS isnt bad, but I didnt ruin my life when i got it, as i thought it would.

Then again, you can tell by the way you are travelling when you are "riding" a good horse. Some courses on it relly require you to ride your horse differently. On one of the tracks you always get a gap up the inside, while at others you cant be in the lead with 2-3f to go, you will be bypassed by 5-6 on the wide outside in the final strides. it was good to that that level of complexity was captured.

or you could just stick it on easy mode and win every race by 100 yards.

Just bought John McCriricks Starters Orders today for the PC. Anybody played that? I've G1 Jockey 1 and 3 and Gallop Racer. Noticed a new Gallop Race game in the shop for ps2.
