It's not a system, more of a method, and it has proved it's worth over several years but it does get boring at times and I try to branch out and hit problems. The crux of my method is do I consider the bet to be value and that is in my opinion only, other people may well follow my method, then make a different decision to me.

To reiterate my method, I only consider handicaps of 7 .to 9 runners, look at first 3 in the betting and consider any horses that were in the frame on last 2 runs. Sometimes there may be more than one, normally I will swerve that race, but not always. As regards value, I consider any thing between 3 and 6 as possible value, but my final decision is really just an educated guess.
