Stupid Newbury

Mmm Holt was dissing Hurricane Fly last week and defending Newbury this week-maybe he has decided to shed his blandness and become edgy and controversial.
 
Sandown last two days has been a treat and it's hard to argue with many people's opinion it's the best course of them all

I'm a member there and naturally took a note of how many were wearing jeans in that enclosure. Shocked to see it was about a third. Day was ruined

Shame about the loss of the May Bank Holiday Meeting , the crap race the Gainsborough Chase has become and the disappearance of the Anthony Mildmay Peter Cazalet Memorial Chase.
 
Well I'm only a jumps member but that may meeting was a great day with a good crowd. Never understood it at all

Noticeable how big Fridays crowd was too. Every year the course seems to get more popular
 
The Mildmay Cazalet has been rebranded the London National and was the last race on yesterday's card.Definitely not the race it used to be.
