Running total for March now +107.6.
Only one real chance for a nice win today - hopefully it will come from Chosen Witness in the 4.02 Naas. Taken some of the 75 + 40-1 with the bookies this morning. Heavily green as I type/post.
**Edit: Good f$%^ing grief! Should have taken the green! Think he may have taken a knock from a loose horse, not sure. Pulled up before the last.
Good news, though..BF Sportsbook heavily limited my morning win bet, so not much lost there. There's always a silver lining, you just have to recognize it!

On the face of it, yesterday could have been a disappointing day for any win/place bets. But I'll take the positive viewpoint...there were some nice places and great runs from the most important few on the list. Why most important? Well, three of them were in a 4-runner EW trebles and EW accum, which more than made up for any single bet losses.
So, it was -12 for the tracker, but excellently positive for the bank.
And, as is often the case, if the 4th one could have got in the first two, it would have been a 'raucous scenes' day.
Shame that AW Dave didn't put up his 25-1 2nd earlier, otherwise that may well have gone in the bet. The only other biggie I might have stuck in it was the JW Mullins runner in the maiden at Hereford, but really didn't expect better than 4th, and the horse looked set for that before battling on from the last to get in the three.
The runners:
Get on George 1.50 San Nice run, got 40 for the win, but the 4 place market wasn't big enough at around 7. -1
Air Apparent/Big Bert 2.12 Hereford 55 AA, BB drifted to around 18. Seamoon Story was the most obvious, but not backable in single figures. AA got the 3rd but 7s wasn't big enough. Did try a small Seamoon/AA Exacta, not too far off. -2
Messerschmidt/ General Briar/Spirits Bay 227 San 80 and 38 and 100 respectively Took 9s Spirits Bay 5 places (finished 6th!!). Was already too heavily exposed to Messersschmidt for the win to consider the places but really should have at least gone 9 or thereabouts 5 places. -4
Mo Chailin More 2.34 Gowran 700 odd -1
Babs/Gidge 3.00 San 40 and 26 respectively. -2
Glen Road 4.10 Took 16s in the morning, good run in 2nd, jumped well all round as did the winner. -1
Dalmally 8.30 Took 70s early in the day, may have been up higher pre-race, didn't look. -1
