Hardly a stealth tax, Merlin. The licence has been in existence for what, 50 years? Isn't it entitled to rise in cost at some point?

Its possible to pick up terrestrial BBC broadcasts in some parts of Ireland, but most Irish viewers get the BBC through cable or satellite subscriptions.

I KNOW that some or most people living on the south east and east coast of IRELAND can pick up S4C a Welsh ch4 programme............but I aint sure of the BBC?
