Is Terence on a sabbatical? Haven't seen a posting from him for a long time. Distinct lack of argy-bargy on here in his absence. B)
 
terry is one of a number of people - some of them founder members - who have decided that the forum has changed. And not for the better.

Indeed I agree, but I find it bizarre that rather than trying to improve the forum (by adding threads on interesting debates etc) some are just giving up on TH and going to a site where many of us look in anyway(a very good one I may add Ted)!!
 
Well said Aidan. If there are numpties on here it is very easy to simply not engage. Petulant to storm off in a huff.

Tel, just in case you are looking in, that is not directed at your good self.

And now swears on FF just as well.

I`ve just registered with FF. What are the main differences? I notice they dont have a thread where new members can introduce themselves which is a bit daft.
 
Apart from their love of cricket and gay porn, there's not much difference over there.

Ugh, dont like the sound of that.

The gay porn sounds ok though.
 
There are one or two arrogant b**t***s on here who eventually sicken the most calm and unflappable members and cause them to leave. The really sad thing is that despite being told about it they continue in the same old way because they cannot, or won't, believe that their critics may have a point. Intellectual bullying is rife here because it goes unchecked in the main.

I`m the least calm and unflappable person i know and no-one on here gets on my nerves to the extent i`d think of leaving.

Can't really remember arguing with you at all, to be honest (except over Keen Leader maybe).
 
Blimey, Diver - more than TEN intellectual bullies? I didn't know there were that many bright people on here! I'll have to leave in shame, if that's the case. :shy: It's a wonder I've been allowed to stay so long, though possibly it's been just to make some people feel superior...

Maybe I'm just a bit dozy, but I cannot say I have noticed them.
