That's true Slim but there's a solid reason why AoB hasn't won the Arc with a 3yo - he never gives them a comfy mid season break so they hardly ever arrive at Longchamp on peak form. Now, Whirl could be another Enable who was enough ahead of her rivals as a 3yo for it to not matter but I'd want a price to find that out.

Gezora has been given that vintage French Arc campaign - wins Classic (French Oaks), put away for the summer, not exactly beaten up when reappearing in the Vermeille yesterday.

I wouldn't say yesterday conclusively proved she stays 1m4f, but if she does she could take a big step forward on the first Sunday in October, though if the ground turns testing it becomes a different race.
