The 2025 Cesarewitch (Handicap)

Backed Novelista after he won at Goodwood (2m,hvy) when trainer said he stayed every inch, and jockey said he'd be better on a flatter track.
Ces looked the obvious target and his 2 runs since no more than prep races.
Off 85,there's every chance Hollie will take the ride again.
Still 33/1

Calling Ian, (a bit like what they say about Donald Trump, you can take this seriously, but not literally).

There were 24 runners in this contest last year, but 31 runners the year before.

Henceforth, what is the maximum amount of runners that can run in this race this year please, (no, I can't see myself).

Thankyou in advance.

34 mate for those that care.

If Prescott doesn't run "The Dragon" in "the Ces," I sincerely hope they pursue a Cup campaign with him, he's just outside the frame every run and never earns another penny in prize money.

I also hope all Prescott's children and grand children become vegans and vote for Jeremy Corbyn.
It doesn't make much sense does it ? He's skipping this for Saudi Arabia in the spring ? Surely he could run here and be ready for Saudi. I think he's said he won't run unless the ground is quick. I presume he means the ground is decent. See what the decs say Monday but personally think he's having a "Henderson moment" a race he's never won on home soil, has a horse 12 pounds well in. It's like walking past 90 bags that someone has dropped on the floor. He want's to watch his children don't put him in a home if he doesn't run this as they must be thinking he's lost his marbles.

Either way if he doesn't run I don't like any at the front of the market working from favourite out I'd have to get to Zanndabad before I found anything that looked interesting.

He needs gelding, Reet. He could be some horse if they did that. Please see the 'certified nuts thread'.

Dec stage today. Can we all calm down please.
When the edgiest fella on the web calls for calm, you just know things must have got out of hand.

Five-day confirmations for "the Ces" at 1pm-2pm today - I, for one, am getting incredibly excited, but heeding the advice from across yonder water and will endeavour to "chillax," a term that's probably as "so last year, darling" as podcasts.

Very early in my time at Power Tower, my boss noted in a private meeting that I was ‘a bit edgy’. To this day, I’ve no idea what he meant.

A mystery to all, I'm sure.

Though, all joking aside, I'm puzzled as to why he felt the need to preface his astute observation by deploying the moderating term "a bit."

As stated by Jayhawk, there are 25 confirmed entries.

Pendragon is sadly out as expected, but Reverend Hubert is still in.

First look and Bunting beckons. Had originally wanted to back Too Bossy For Us but he's not running. However, I notice that Bunting was a running-on sh/head behind TBFU at Leopardstown in September, giving 4Lbs.

Beylerbeyi did me huge favour earlier in the season and leaps up in distance He acts like he could be a stayer.

As I say: first look.
