You jammy....I have drawn Iroko so I'm not going to curse my usual lack of luck in these things.

D O gives it a good mention.Thank for the reminder, gentlemen, one does rather love a freebie!
However, I've got Fil D'Or and, unless they allow him to start now, I won't be collecting on that particular minute of my life I can't get back.![]()
This brings Hewick, Minella Cocooner and any other spring-ground staying chasers right into it.
I am not sure I should enter, it will be another horse I feel I have to back (lol).
But they will water again this evening and tomorrow morning.
I don't think we were wrong about the going. They've been doing their damnedest to do as we've been saying but the combination of warmer temperatures and the breeze - the type of conditions that would have a clothes line of unspun terry nappies drying in an hour out the back garden - have been hampering progress.
But I accept too that they are doing the right thing in watering. I think the good-ground horses for tomorrow have now indeed got lucky. I imagine Hendo must be ruing not having a proper good-ground plot in the race this year. He's had a few down the line who have had their chances watered away.
Hitman has been backed in from 150/1 to 33/1 with the bookies.

I give you credit Dessie, you don't hold back, you can't say that you stand on the fence. Perhaps he will be the only finisher and won't have to pass another horse (lol). I am on ew at 181/1, so I won't get to worked up, if he comes lastProbably nothing to do with money for him. More likely because in his Betfair blog Nicholls gave it as his next best after Kandoo Kid (but I wouldn't believe a word he says and the horse would be more aptly called Shitman since he won't go past another horse in a finish with a red hot poker threatening his arse).
Go for it. There are worse 125/1 shots, but I’ve tried to imagine how he could win this and can’t really see it. Always used to think they had question marks about Gold Cup trip for him, so this should be too far.As DO has alluded to above regarding class horses + reasonable ground, I can't let Conflated go unbacked ew at 125s.

I totally get it, but I think him + the likes of Hitman, will be comfortable + travelling well within themselves no matter how fast they go on the ground. A matter how long they last. On said conditions. I can see some of the market leaders, who may prefer softer ground, or who are not natural jumpers of fences, struggling to keep up , thus putting their jumping under pressure.Go for it.
