I don't know if anybody else watches this programme. It is the only 'reality' or soap opera I watch and find it compulsive.

Week One didn't tell much other than they are choosing a lot more 'eye-candy' and people who are even more delusionally egotistical than last year.

Is there any betting on the outcome?

Fantastic viewing.

For those who want to see more of Nick Brown's work:

Probably the funniest bit of the first episode was the guys attempt to sell the remaining fish.

Apart from the absurdity of ending up trying to flog it in a solicitors office when you're literally around the corner from Upper Street and it's 5 million restaurants, the negotiation was genius:

"You can have it all for £100"

Fifty

"That's too diminutive. What would you say about 90?"

Fifty

"65?"

Fifty

"Deal!"

eye candy?

Not a looker amongst the women

Does anyone know if the first episode will be repeated on one of the many BBC channels (eg BBC57)? Missed the first one but love the programme - that and Dragon's Den are compulsive viewing.

Indian fella with the posh accent - an actor surely?

I`ll watch it but it`s way too false now - there seem to be a lot of himbo types ths year, they must have worked out the main demographic was sexually frustrated 30 somethings.

Those blokes are a right shower of tossers.

"I can't say the word. It means second place. It begins with the letter 'L.' You work it out."

Holy Sh!t

You are right AC, but I have to admit to feeling a twinge of pity tonight. I've done quite a lot of professional cooking, successfully if I may say so, but the two weeks I spent trying to run a pub kitchen were without question the worst experience of my long working life

The sheer unpredictability of it is quite ghastly, in terms of ordering etc, before you even think about maybe cooking for 60 people in 2/3 hours

Actually, I posted my comment at the start. When you watch that guy on the BBC apres show, he was a lot more normal and likeable.

I had the misfortune to watch this last night. My conclusion is that they are all a shower of tossbags. I wouldn't employ any of them as The Apprentice.

The men are a bunch of drama queens.
Sorry to keep picking on you Grey, but you seem to have typed the word "Drama" in your last statement....
