One of my favourite races at my local track, and a race I've failed to back the winner in for about 10 years.

Anyone fancy anything strongly this time around? I've long been a fan of Red Cadeaux, but he doesn't get his head in front too often. He had a nightmare run in the race last year, hampered left, right and centre, but could go well with a clearish run this time. Probably find one or two too good though.

Any thoughts?

Ya the name escapes me but the current favourite is 'the bleedin obvious one' and I would look no further until the day.

I like the look of Overturn in this on this track. With a decent draw he can boss them from the front. Hold up horses here need way too much luck. His CH run and more recently at Ayr show him to bang in form and McCain has been making positive noises about him and the race over the last few days. Eddie Ahern booked already - he probably is as exposed as most but will give me a run for my money at 14's. I'd love to go sometime - the talent looks amazing!!

Mount AThos is obvious one. But this race, i would like one to be up in the van all the way. The draw is crucial as well. The 1st 6 horses after 3 f are normally still the 1st 6 entering the last furlong too...

The McCain love affair endures!!!

Good man yourself.

It was a really nice performance by Ahern and Overturn, great to watch.

Great old ding-dong between the leaders for so long, making it an interesting race. Ardross - praising a jockey? I've had to pick myself up off the floor!

Agree. I love this horse. Must be one of the best horses in training to own.
