Maybe it's a mistake on Oddschecker but the Best Odds Gaurantee symbol has been removed from all Ladbrokes Odds. Is this the beginning of the end of BOG. It is a concession that I personally think is over-valued by punters anyway but the odd time it plays to your advantage is a nice bonus. It would be obviously to the bookies advantage to see it go but it couldn't be costing them that much to keep it.

On the other hand Stan James seem to have only introduced it quite recently, I noticed the symbol hovering over their name for the first time yesterday.

Before the Belgian authorities started banning most bookie's websites almost all my betting was BOG and my SJ and Tote accounts were rarely used. I think it is a great concession and it worked in my favour on a good few occasions when betting in races such as bumpers and 2yo races where the odds can be volatile. I think it especially useful when lining up multiple bets.

BOG is a bit of a no-brainer and I find 99% of my bets are with bookies who offer the best odds and go BOG.

Stan James used to go BOG but withdrew it a while ago. They've been claiming they offer it for a while now but the symbol has never appeared at oddschecker in that time so I've been avoiding betting with them.

I cant see Ladbrokes getting rid of it online. They're so far behind their competitors that they're obliged to offer it. Also they're based on the rock so it would make NO sense for them to withdraw it online.

BetPack use SJ odds and have gone BOG in the last month

To my best knowledge, Ladbrokes offer BOG on all online bets but from 10 am only. So, before this time, you will not see the BOG marker on the betting panels.

Nearly right Monty.

From their terms, etc:

Bets must be placed on the day of the event to qualify.

Available from 12pm each day Ladbrokes reserves the right to withdraw this guarantee at any time and to apply exemptions to selected customers.

I remember a pal backing Royal Box when he won at 8/1, but he took the early 4/1, in the morning.

It seems a pretty poor offer for the standard days racing.
