The Masham Star thread.

Ps...I never said he.would certainly win, your words not mine. I did start this thread. I'm sorry if you have a problem with it? Are you okay?,

Are you okay?

You're seriously asking me that?

I was just curious that you could rate a horse that had already returned to form yet been unable to win and was now a pound higher your 'nap', ie the one horse you think has the best chance of winning for you.

But since you've decided to get all possessive about the thread, you're welcome to it. Hope the horse wins for you.

IIRC my analysis was that he seemed to do best when having a run of RPR between 90-96, last time he did that he subsequently ran 3rd at 20/1 which is reasonable enough. His runs the last two times would put me off backing him now until he gets a couple of pounds off.

PS - pretty sure DO was only asking.... :)

Apologies, DO. I'm reading things into things that aren't there. I honestly am keeping the faith, I reckon he will go very close.

Maybe the 1lb will make the difference, maybe it won't.

Half the jockeys in that race should be lined up against a wall and shot. They gave themselves no chance by trying to come from the back off a slow pace. What on earth were they thinking of?

Gossiping was a tracker horse of mine last season after Goodwood where I thought it was very unlucky in running but it proceeded to disappoint time after time. I haven't touched it at all this season and it goes and pishes up three times.

Yeah, I'm the same.

I put it up on my top five horses to follow last season.

Typical.

Only had a little on Masham Star in all honestly.

Same here.lol

Provided a drop in class over 7F he can win a race or two.

But it'll be at a fair price.

Not at cramped short odds.

I thought,at Chester,he was paddling close home.it could have been the effort to get across early, but maybe he needs a rest.

I didn't see the pre-race stuff yesterday but by the time he got to chase the pace he looked already awash with sweat. I think Outsider might be right. A wee break (or, given how Johnston operates, a few runs out the back) might be in order.

Running today in the next, watching brief

Was having his 10th run of the year and his 50th since April 2017.at his 20th different track.
3 wins says it all.

Yeah let's let this thread sink, lads. :)

It was a daft idea for a thread.
