I honestly don't understand why anyone cares.

If Yates thinks buying a horse who's beaten a serial loser in a Maiden Point for over half a million and selling a Challow Hurdle winner for around double that is a good idea that's up to him.

And if McManus still gets a kick out of buying up half the Jumping prospects in training that's up to him.

The horse is more interesting than either of them and tbh I'd say the same of most horses in racing compared to most humans in racing.

Either I missed it before or the RP updated the article which now says Darren & Annaley Yates are to quit the sport. Seemingly disillusioned with the level of prize money and treatment of owners in general
