Just braved a chili chicken salad sub at the Day Job. The lettuce in particular seemed to have lived a life.

3 Hand cut slices 1/4" thick from a fresh white loaf - lightly toasted.
1st slice layer with mayonnaise and shredded iceberg lettuce + 2 slices hot maple smoked bacon and 1 hot hard boiled egg sliced.
2nd slice layer with mayonnaise and shredded iceberg lettuce with sliced cold fresh turkey breast and 1 sliced vine tomato.
put 2nd slice on top of 1st slice - take 3rd slice and layer with mayonnaise and shredded iceberg lettuce and put this lettuce side down on top of 2nd slice.
Trim the edges and cut diagonally hold together with a cocktail stick in each halve and add a fresh pitted green and black olive on each cocktail stick.
