Yeah just watched it back. Race was over straight away, slipped coming out of the gates.Ok thanks. That was literally the only way she could get beat.
Rotten luck.

Jubilee Alpha 1:45 Wincanton -the 5/4 is a gift.Strong traveller -will dominate the opposition.
Stranger things have happened but in my opinion Jubilee Alpha is a quality mare who we have yet to see the best of.I got the impression this morning that Nicholls was keener on his other one but he's well up to putting punters away.
Love of neymore seems overpriced, Bethpage might surpriseI got the impression this morning that Nicholls was keener on his other one but he's well up to putting punters away.

I wonder do the powers that be give out to certain people who give out good tips?I'm not sure it's a case of what his judgment is. I'm more inclined to think he's very reluctant to tell the truth before a race.
Indulge me (again) briefly....so I'm in a private box at the King George meeting at Kempton a few years ago and a lady who worked for the yard is in there....the yard are running two in the next race...."I quite fancy Cyrname, but Paul thinks the other one will win so I've backed that instead," she said.Nicholls is literally the worst judge before a race of all time. He's excellent in a winning interview mind.

"Maybe you're a better judge than him," I said to her after Cyrname won - she looked at me in horrified shock as if I'd just uttered the ultimate heresy.
Funny old game - I had to smile anyway.
Cobden was definitely showboating -apologies to anyone who followed me in.Desperately unlucky, Luke.
That's the world we live in -what trainers say per race is well rehearsed PR.It can be different after an emotional victory when the adrenaline is flowing. For me it should raise questions within the racing media, especially the TV people. They should have people analysing what interviewees are saying over the course of a season or more and the extent to which what they're saying proves to be true.
I'd say 90% of what Nicholls says before a race proves to be untrue. Hendo wouldn't be far behind.

Well done. Great shout.Kempton 1.30
