Anyone know how many horses (or who they were) have won three different races at the festival? I'm pretty certain four hasn't been? It's just that when I tried to think of those who'd done three off the top of my head, I struggled (Bobs Worth?). Champagne Fever came within a nose, and Voy Por Ustedes had his chacne too when coming second in a Ryan Air. It must be a very select group, but Don Poli and Vautour look like candidates to join it, and one assumes that one day someone will win four. I suppose to win four you probably need to get a bumper win, or progress to the Gold Cup via the RyanAir

Flyingbolt was the first to win three in the pre-Albert Bartlett days. He won the Supreme, Arkle and the Champion Chase. As this was in the 60s, the names of the races were different. He also finished third in the CH the day after his win in the CC!

Champagne Fever could in theory have had a very outside chance of 5:
Bumper
Supreme
Arkle (close 2nd)
QM pulled out in the morning, held the winner at Chelt
Ryanair in 16 as they avoid UDS

Before going onto win the Cross Country as a 10yo and bringing the house down in the 2020 Foxhunters!!! Wow what a horse!!!

Certainly three is going to get done with much greater frequency, I still think someone is going to do four. Send Bobs Worth to the Pertemps!
