Thanks Red. Ratings are of course of limited help (and often quite misleading) in NH novice events.

I think he's looked very good, with more to come. Particularly liked his most recent performance when he was unfortunate at the last. However, the rating doesn't look to have much relative basis I agree.
 
Looks a bit inflated to me given the Wincanton form. His OR is too high as well.

I'll be opposing him at the Festival.
 
He was when 7/2 my lay of the meeting. I can't believe there won't be better horses in the race.

Switch him to a less fashionable trainer and he's a 12/1 shot.
 
Sorry Dave, nothing further available on Cheltenham website. They also seem to have restricted access to the entries and declarations to the Press only, as none of their PDF files have the word file with entries etc attached.
