That will be one hell of a race if all or most of them stand their ground, which must be possible given it's been re-opened.

Edit: Looks like Finians more likely to go to Cheltenham a week later.

Longer ago than that Granger, you're clearly older than you thought !

and in hindsight it seems a pity Well Chief didn't make the front page in the build up.

Are you serious? Azertyuiop.....top line on a French keyboard, apparently. Vive la difference.

The pic might be from Moscow's first (winning) Tingle Creek - in which case, the Post have picked the wrong race to profile. Agree with Lee that they should have gone with the 2004 edition, with Well Chief also in the picture, as it took all three of them to make it the greatest Jumps race ever..........but?........they're retards at the Post........what can you do?

The picture is taken from the 2003 edition as the date on the paper is 2004, so it is the preview of Moscow vs Azerty III (vs Well Chief) although as the race wasn't run until later that day they wouldn't have had the benefit of hindsight but he was still the current Arkle winner so should have merited a place beside them on the front page IMHO.

Charbel (Kim Bailey) only runs in Tingle Creek if the race cuts up to two or three runners and is more likely to run in Peterborough Chase the next day as predicted going will be in his favour. Having said that would be first time he's run over the distance.

To be fair to Mullins, he didn’t do a lot wrong on BP first time up at Kempton.

I agree it’s a little strange though. I can only imagine there was a time when Nico had to choose between one of Buckley’s and another of Henderson’s, went with the other one, and that it put Buckley’s nose out of joint, and he no longer wants to use him?

If so, it’s a strange decision, because there’s little doubt that NdB has quickly developed lnto one of the best riders in the UK.

I suppose Danny Mullins will be riding Brain Power again? not cool he simply isn't good enough when you can have Nico on board
Apart from the fact that it's David Mullins, he's already ridden Brain Power 5 times to Nico's zero and there's absolutely no reason to jock him off.

Nico has a 20% strike rate Mullins has a 6% strike rate the prize money to be won between now and Aintree is almost 1/4 million...Gimme a break Archie there's no room for sentimental crap in business

And that comes from someone who jocked Mark Dwyer off and put John Quinn up because he was my friend....

It's not sentimental. (Grand National winner) David has obviously done the business as far as Buckley and Nicky the Needle are concerned and I doubt if the subject has even cropped up.

It may also be a hint that NtN sees River Wylde as more likely to run his race at Cheltenham.

Paddy’s 9/2 about NHH looks a decent price to me. I reckon he’ll improve past Sceau Royal and Finian’s will get outpaced. Have to admit Brain Power should win if running his race but happy to take the price. Hill’s only 3/1
