Thoroughbred Racing Commentary has come up with a ranking of the top trainers, jockeys, owners and sires in the world. The results and the methodology are described in the two links above.

Are the rankings useful or valid? At worst they should provide a juicy bone for some of us to chew.

i like figures,,but none of those will tell me what will win the first tomorrow..so..all in all..they don't tell me owt i don't know..and from a practical point they aren't unsolving the puzzle

and they don't say how they compiled them..i can compile my own..and i know how i did them..so..thanks for the link..i read it it with interest...but in reality its not moved me in a forward direction

They provide more detail here on how they work and claim they have a predictive purpose. They are based on RPRs but are adjusted for various factors.
