It's very unusual for me to have a bet at Newcastle but I feel inclined to stick my neck out with one in the shape of:

Lady Celia - 7.15 Newcastle 10/1 Ew

I saw this lto and couldn't help but note what good headway she made in the final furlong that day. This extra furlong will present no problems given that she's won over c/d before (Cl 5 OR 62 won by 2L). She's down to cl 6 and I reckon she can go well close off this mark of 61.

Has to be worth a go.
 
Disappointing, it must be said. 6th in the end, I was expecting at least a frame finish. The jockey wasn't hard on her at the end; she was allowed to come home in her own time in the final furlong.

Ho hum: Autumn. Ho hum: Newcastle.
