Tony McCoy gets a very well-deserved OBE, and young James Halliday rides his first treble, at Market Rasen - where, I'm sure we all recall, his brother Tim was killed in a fall in 2005. Heart-warming events, both much appreciated by the two concerned. And very, very good for racing.

I always thought Tony was an Irishman-why would he want to accept that award.

Set up for it by an Inglisi, too. Pity old Pipey never got a tap on the shoulder for services to what was, until he sharpened it up, dull and boring NH fare.
