Valentines Day

  Now that, Soba, has to beat a friend of my Mum's, whose husband gave her a concrete mixer for her birthday!

After my little cynical outburst about Valentines Day I was pleased to receive red roses and heart shaped chcolates. Maybe its not such a load of keek after all. :D

I didn't tell ya what else he got me that same xmas....

A sweat scraper and....

Horse shampoo, one especially made for removing grass and manure stains from white horse's. He added the last comment to me as i opened it, just to make sure i was doubly impressed :brows:

Soba - at least he got something useable!! I got a big, VERY cute teddy ( but the card was badly disguised dads handwriting, so it doesnt count!!) and I've been stood up cos the bf had to work late. ( no's 2 and 3 are all out with resoective partners, but have had text messages from them, and an invite out from the ex (of 3 weeks!!) who is in denial and stalking me....)

Normally I make overblown romantic gestures but this year I just knew I was getting f*ck all so I went for a simple card and a small, very cheap teddy bear. I don't feel so bad about getting f*ck all now.

I had a sms message ORANGE which I had to apply a password and view on here from my two granddaughters 4&7 sent by my daughter........ :) it was a photo of the two of them, worth more than any other one I suppose.............. ;)

I got a card, but no dinner at The Harvester ("bound to be too busy"), but did get to watch the football!

You can guess which one of us was really happy about that result! He'll pay!

  Oh, boy, the Spanish Inquisition is going to look like a bunch of pantywaists after that, Kathy! You have SO much ammunition... :teeth:

Sounds a top geezer your bloke, can we be friends.

I am in the doghouse. Had a conversation a week or so ago about the fact we never buy anything. I interpreted as no card either. Result, me 1 card, gf 0 cards.

At least we beat Arsenal!
