So looks like Sheikh Mohammed is looking to buy this yard.
Presumably he will stable his best horses in training there.
It is clear to me Godolphin are having much better results with outside trainers (just a look at their runners at Ascot would confirm that).
The question is who would train at WP? What would you do?
Would you give Ed Walker a massive chance?
Would you secure an up-and-coming trainer like Hugo Palmer, David O'Meara or James Tate?
How about getting Mike de Kock permanetly in the UK?

Thoughts?

APOB was mostly a jumps trainer at the time wasn't he? Perhaps Harry Fry? Dan Skelton?

Interestingly enough Sheikh Mohammed indicated today at Royal Ascot that he was "born on a horse". Is this some strange semitic custom?

Hard to say -puts into perspective the punt that John Magnier took by giving APOB the Ballydoyle job.

True for you, it's hard to get these things right. Michael Dickinson had a bad time when he went to train for Robert Sangster at Manton.

Peter Chapple -Hyam had a serious amount of support from Sangster and Coolmore when he started out but multiple classic successes couldn't keep him in the job.Even Dickinsons legendary status couldn't get him a second season.
Couldn't think of anyone I would take a punt on-apart from Joseph O' Brien.

John Ferguson has been a major part of the team for a number of years - possible that he'd rent it from Sheikh Mohammed.

Unsure on the exact arrangements at Warren Place at the moment but it was only 2014 that Ed Walker moved into a few boxes at the yard.
