What are you backing Today? Part 2

...and old Rapper did well to hang on to them that long. On the evidence of this, can definitely win again. Most likely a veterans, but you couldn't necessarily rule out an all-aged class 2.

Note, Kim Bailey wasn't overconfident about Destroy with his current mark

He's not but I've never been a ground punter, didn't really care.

What a good f$%^ing race that was. Hunter Legend and Destroy both travelled awful but I never had Neon Moon down as a three miler so wasn't without hope. Didn't account for Ballycamus.
Yup. Cracking race. I think Hunter has proved that 3m, 3m+ is the call. As you've guessed, I'm a going follower and now they've found the key in respect of distance, he'll definitely be one to watch over a staying trip when the ground is truly soft.

I thought he'd downed tools at one point but Charlie had a niggle or two, no more, and bided his time. Didn't he cruise up two out! I thought he was going to win at that point but he didn't find that much, did he? They may try some headgear, don't you reckon? He runs in snatches a bit, which is often remedied with pieces or something.

There's a nice 3m handicap chase at Sandown on Scilly Isles day in early February which O'Connell won this year. Soft to heavy ground and the uphill finish would suit Hunter Legend, and the six week gap between races would be about right too.

( I thought the fences at Ludlow were supposed to be soft. Another fall for Lemoncello, and I got 12/1 yesterday.)
