SMP gave Pendragon a run around the Leger c/d in June,and in a truly run race he skipped away from the opposition,leaving little doubt he'll stay the Doncaster Cup trip.
Likely to handle the ground,too.so looks a solid bet at the general 7/1 i.mo.

Lol, turns out 81 was generous. Maybe the ground to blame and one to keep an eye on for me. Had a frustrating day with 2 seconds and then that one being well back.

I think Prydwen is too big a price and could win the listed race at Chester (2.40).

He's done precious little this season, hence the price available here, but after a two month break off the track, and as a horse with some solid back form, I reckon he could run a lot better.

Faded late on this day but he was only beaten four and a half lengths and it was his first run for a while so he can come on for it. He's dropped to handicap class again in tomorrows 2.40 at Chester. He has a chance at double figure odds.
