Not been betting recently but have broken cover to back jinnys friends horse. Met him at Chaddersly lovely fella and this is think was the plan for Wolf walker back then was to make the NH novices final today. Couple of real good bits of form over 2 mile running one of Nicky Hendersons close thats entered up in the novice races at the festival. Then running Captain Hugo close who won the big race at Kelso last week. Can only think with his pointing background that he'll improve for today's step up in trip, looks a cracking bet at double figure odds to me and if he wins and Robert gets to pick up the trophy it couldn't happen to a nicer guy.

Yes you couldn't meet a nicer bloke. He invited me today but Sandown is such a trek from here and as I am doing Cheltenham on Tuesday, it was just too much of a stretch.
 
That rain has certainly got into the ground. Wasn't to be with Wolfie - looked like he paid for the early pace in that ground. He didn't enjoy it at all at the Cheltenham Hunter Chase meeting so I would draw a line through that run.

A shame but there you go.
