I used to organise fancy dress Northern Soul nights at a nightclub called The Funky Fish in Brighton in the early 2010's and it would be packed out with 100's of people. Great nights they where.Anyone on here like Northern soul.
I remember going to Wigan casino in 1977.
It blew my mind.
I would have liked to have seen Kate having a go at writing musicals. I always thought that would have been right up her street given her talentsFrom Kate "Alan Murphy played guitars on the track. He was a truly special musician and a very dear friend. Tragically, he died just before we made the video so he wasn't able to be there with us but you'll see his guitar was placed on an empty chair to show he was there in spirit."
And from me .. We have now lost Del Palmer as well. Del was a big part of Kate's life as her partner for many years and music collaborator right up till the end. He was a real gent.
Back to Kate talking about Del's demise - "It's hard to know what to say... He was a big part of my life and my work for many years. It's going to take a long time to come to terms with him not being here with us," Bush wrote alongside a photograph of "Tree of Life," a colorful mosaic of a tree that Palmer made"
It's amazing how popular this music still is after all these years.I used to organise fancy dress Northern Soul nights at a nightclub called The Funky Fish in Brighton in the early 2010's and it would be packed out with 100's of people. Great nights they where.
