What Are You Singing Now?

And what actions do you make when you sing that, Martin? :brows:
There aren't really any.

But it goes "I know a gal from Sheffield Uni, we just met and she said..."

In similar fashion to Krizon and her cronies at Brighton, I often sing "racehorse" songs.

Among my favourites are:

Farewell my Zomerlust (by Micheal Jackson)

and

It's another Tagula Sunrise (by The Eagles)

Meanwhile, today, I have mostly been singing

Bob The Piler, can we fix it? (by that bloke off Men Behaving Badly)

Arkwright.
No intention to offend, just trying to bring a bit of light heartedness to the forum.

Hello everybody.
Before you ask.

I was listening to some old songs by Perry Como.

Wanting to lighten the tension between PDJ and myself i thought

that i would post up the song "Me and my Shadow" sung by Perry Como.

I removed as soon as Arkwright stuck his oar in.

There was no malice intended,to the contrary,i thought that it would tickle PDJ and SL's fancies,as they are,for the most apart. He in Birmingham and She in Gibralter.

I certainly don't wish to have a long running feud with PDJ and SL.

PDJ.

There was no intention to offend you,or SL.

The past has been resolved, lets look to the future.

I thought that it was common knowledge that you and SL lived in different countries. (for work reasons)

Glad I'm not the only one who fancies herself as some kind of musical genius when in a car.

In a bad mood today so Slither by Velvet Revolver and Welcome to the Jungle by GNR have been high on my list of songs to jump about to. Got to love those guitars...

Fused the hairdryer the other day and obviously the need for body and bounce cannot be over emphasised. Had to improvise - moshing around to Enter Sandman by Metallica certainly gave me that "messy chic bedhair" look.

Well I liked it.

Of course half way through the song the hairdryer started working again, I decided in my infinite (lack of) wisdom to combine the two and managed to t**t myself around the head with said hairdryer quite severely.

Pepsi I know the feeling.

Still think Oh My God is the best Kaisers track out yet, which is going a bit, and that Mylo thing....I usually can't stand that kind of stuff but listened to it once as everything else on the radio was bloody awful and it has a very catchy hook to it....so I just now downloaded it :)

But order will be restored because Don't Ever Think by the Zutons is going on in a minute...

Zozzy, I love the image of you whacking yourself around the head to Enter Sandman. Maybe the best metal track ever?? I think I Predict A Riot is the best Kaiser Chiefs single!

I hope that doesn't represent a personal urge you have to beat me over the head with an electrical appliance?!?! :)

Twas worth it though. Great song.

I love I Predict A Riot to but I liked it first time around and now it's been rereleased I'm suffering from overexposure to it! The new one's good though!

Today, I can't stop singing...

Cleopatra Kombinacja
Cleopatra Kombinacja

...as a tribute to the Tom George trained mare that runs in the 1.00 Folkestone.

Should I seek medical advice?

You can sing it along as she runs, Relks: "Cleo-pat-ra, comin' atcha..." hopefully with monetary success attendant to your efforts.

I've been mangling 'I Can See Clearly Now' (a HUGE fave of mine) with attendant falling about movements - who did the skit (was it Kenny Everett?) on telly, and having sung the first two lines, fell off the side of the stage into the orchestra pit? Hilarious.

Have been singing the below for most of the day:

The little things you say and do
Make me want to be with you
Graze On - it's a crazy feeling and
I know it's got me reeling
when you say “I love you” - Graze On

...guess what won the 3.20 Southwell at 12/1.

I knew I should have backed him.

To the tune of the Russian folk-song and the one that they play at Stamford Bridge when Roman Abramovich enters his box, "Karlinka" - Brave Inca, Brave Inca...

This while clutching an ante-post voucher to the chest

"Like A Rhinestone Cowboy.." after one of the guys on the desk thought he'd start singing it after discussing the Stayer's. Needless to say, he now has everyone unable to get it out of their heads and is being moaned at quite a lot about it now!

LordH
Is there any truth in the rumour that they have relocated Racing Demon so that from his new box he can see older horses schooling over fences, so that he can gain the experience he so desperately needs?
