What Would Your Timeform Description Be?

Good looking filly with plenty of scope to improve. Possibly requires a tongue-tie. Has gone well in past when ridden by an amateur

Hmmmm - would definately have a squiggle B)

I reckon it would be -

Long distance chaser, gets 4 miles easily. goes well for conditional jockeys, but has been known to be reluctant to commit when under pressure. Unreliable at the start and often unruly.

:D

Tried and tested old handicapper who knows her way around, after a few false starts earlier in career. Now has found the trip she needs, and likes to race in very much her own way. Often needs restraint in attempting to dominate and make all, occasionally resents being bustled in big fields. Goes on any ground, though tends to fade over really Heavy going. Rating 205.

Temperamental filly ,yet to show full promise . Will make a good hurdler . Only 5yrs old so plenty to find out ;)

Headstrong 3yo colt, best at a mile but perennial underachiever. May respond better to a harder ride.

B m by DARSHAAN ex PLAYING FOR KEEPS (GB)

Good walker, highly tried, reasonably consistent miler, placed in Listed company, rated 103. Trier but occasional displays of temperament and tail swishing at end of races. Won 2 at 2, 1 at 3 and 1 at 4. Retired to stud 1982, poor breeding record but dam of:

1983 b c realised 3rd top price at Houghton in 1984. Serious colt, Grp 2 winner at 3 and Grp 1 placed at 4 rated 119. Plenty still to come and should do well at stud.
1984-89 Barren
1990 slipped
1991-97 barren
No further returns

Once useful sprinter ( rated 109 ). Best days long since gone. refuses to settle, may have one more big race in him.

GRAHAM 115 39 gr.c. Brian 140 - Maureen 139 (Fred 132)
[2004 - too many to list]

smallish, workmanlike and placid colt; full brother to 36yo poor plater Jan; modest form first 38 years but has now found his vocation in life giving him a renewed enthusiasm for the game; would like to be trained in Dubai. Owner states that under no circumstances will he ever go jumping

Terry 120 46 gr. h. Chevalier 110 - Towelling Down 130 (Irish Lunatic 140)

Tall lengthy horse. Sometimes carries condition. Lazy sort who needs plenty of driving but responds to pressure. Jumps well but needs long distances these days. Has worn blinkers and needs them.

Come on, don't be shy, who's going to be first to include "responds well to the whip".............

Brilliant two year old from unfashionable stable , lazy and temperamental at three , very difficult to get fit now carrying too much condition

Small, chestnut filly with fragile legs. Dislikes large fields, likes to run her races her own way. Does her best work at the end of a race. Responds well to a sympathetic jockey.

And now here's James for sale in Horse & Hound, after his exasperated trainer failed to get him fit:
