What Would Your Timeform Description Be?

Slow Staring Colt, has been around the track for a little over a year, Can respond to the whip in the right circumstances ;). However hasn't won a race yet. Dislikes running against opposition and can often be a monkey, will be better served at the glue factory.

Horse and Hound also have an ad for

Aunty K 200 ( by Gin and Tonic out of Sheltered Accommodation ) quixotic blonde grey mare , generally of good temperament but occasionally kicks out wildly , difficult to rouse in mornings but will consent to short canter in afternoon, happiest in her Northern Racing green coat . Keep well supplied with feed or will turn nasty - not above giving elderly geldings a nip particularly those of Celtic origin .

Not for riders of a nervous disposition

PS Rumours that the above mare has been rejected by Redwings are entirely false

:P

Here's An's....

HANG 'EM HIGH

by ALLEGED ex STIRRED UP (IRE) by FAIR TRIAL b h

Seasoned hurdler with decent turn of foot but inconsistent and inclined to take liberties with the odd flight. Has been placed in Grd 1 company at Cheltenham and Punchestown. Shows occasional flashes of brilliance but seems to find one too good in most of his races. Still entire but current trainer considering gelding this season and a campaign over fences planned.

Here's one for Muttley.............

WAITROSE by Dodgynees.
Very smart all rounder. Small, but not a novice ride. Good to shoe, hates to be clipped. Hacks alone or in company. Not good in traffic. Regularly wormed. Passport.

Here's one TimeForm for Honest Tom (who's been off-air lately):

Tough gelding (by I'M TALKING - out of MYPOCKET) with plenty of heart and zest for the game. Off-track due to serious recent injury to wallet. Now on the bounce, should go better in 2005. :D

And MAURICE has shown up, too:

Small chestnut sprinter (RATINGS WAR - IMALWAYSRIGHT) who scores regularly throughout the season with little apparent effort. Competitive, but likely to sulk if bustled or bumped.

And STODGE:

Well-conditioned brown stayer (LOVIN' IT - PRETTY POLY), supreme Lingfield specialist with enormous experience. Makes selective appearances to good effect, always in the money at his favourite course.

:D

STODGE of course it should be added - all weather specialist sulks andtends to show little interest if raced on turf , except on a warm evening at Kempton . Can't jump

Will anyone dare do mine for me? Anyone mentioning the words Fluffy or Bunny or Veneer will possibly live to regret it! B)

OK, here goes! :(

For sale DEER OH DEER (GB)

Forward going athletic grey mare by HOME ON THE RANGE ex LASSIE DEAR by HAIL TO REASON

Neat, good walker, willing little mare, excellent schoolmistress. Easy to clip, box but shoeing something of a problem, as she gets through several sets a month...

Goes well in blinkers ( :P ) or visor, 7f specialist, difficult to place now as rated 103. Listed placed.

Always travels with stable cat or gets upset.

Here is BrianH

by BIG GAMBLE out of LUXURY LINER

High class middle distance seven year old multiple Group winner - always travels well . Sometimes likes things too much his own way up front and tends to ignore remonstrations from his jockey.

Difficult to place in UK so tends now to run frequently abroad .

I like to live dangerously!

But before Kathy thinks I'm being mean with the 'grey' bit, you try thinking of the nearest horse colour to blonde - can't have palomino t/breds - and chesnut doesn't cover it somehow!!

PDJ - Disappointing colt from small stable at Wolverhampton. Some promise at two but failed to come down hill at Brighton . Runs too free early but sulks when taken on up front -doesn't seem to have a trip not getting home over a mile but outpaced over shorter . Concerns mind may not be on job given reports of reaction to fillies . Additionally, easily distracted and annoyed by exposure to immature yearlings and foals

Gelding advised at earliest possible opportunity

Ardross, I found that an absolutely hilarious read. Looks like PDJ did aswell.

Alan Morgan

Top sire of fillies . Renowned in racing career for tremendous battles with Ardross in which the spoils were evenly divided . Highly popular in Talkinghorses stable and renowned for friendly approach to new additions to the yard save for nasty brutish animals or those that would cause serious malicious disruption to stable harmony .

Occasionally would hang badly to the right but this did not affect his general good form

Much missed

As Jules so rightly pointed out, Palomino is not an accepted colour for thoroughbreds (strictly speaking roan isn't either but it's crept in now) so I reckon I'd have to be a chesnut filly with a flaxen mane & tail Jon!! Actually, I would be a chestnut filly, a typical one too - highly strung, temperamental, prone to getting stroppy and liable to bite or kick when provoked!!
