Some serious racing to look forward to over the coming week. But what's your NAP for the festive season?

I'm going to Kempton Park on the 27th of December for mine. Vaniteux, in the Wayward Lad Novices' Chase made a very lasting impression over course & distance on Nov 23. A joy to behold watching him jump and receiving a couple of pounds from Ar Mad I expect him to take all the beating.

27 Dec. 1.05. Vaniteux NAP 1/1

Tea for Two in the Feltham. Took 5/2 last night - now around 2/1.

Slight doubt about the trip but with the Pipe horse not declared they won't go mental fast. Ultimately it was his prominance at the front of the field and the pace they went that did for him over three miles at Haydock in the Fixed Brush. I can see Native River not liking the track and Nick has an angle on that horse as Abracadabra Sivola was travelling all over him at Exeter.

Native River attracting a fair bit of attention for the RSA but as we know Feltham winners don't win that so I'd agree that Tea For Two likely to be more suited to this than the current favorite.

Had to laugh at Ted Walsh's Christmas banker in today's RP. "Faugheen" - and he goes on to explain why

The race NR won at Newbury was handed to him on a plate with Beast of Burden underperforming and Scudamore riding his horse like a madman.

27th December
Leopardstown
Woodland Opera

Whisper it softly you hedge jumping loving bastards.

 He always loved the horse :)

He was on ATR last Friday night & gave Admiral Chief, one of their bumper horses, as on of the best that ever passed through Clonsutton. Said he'd be out at Leopardstown but can't see him entered up anywhere.

Of Course Ted being Ted couldn't think of his name. Patrick had to tweet in to clarify.

I'll be looking for value where not many will be in this period and so my eyes are on more obscure horses during the festive period, Vyta Du Roc and Cloudy Bob at Leicester with a modest e/w double that will make me as happy as anything else.

What a silly question Kauto....Sprinter Sacre of course

Short Price: Douvan could be even better than Un De Scaux and I would certainly not bet against him.

Longshot: Yanworth will take some beating in the Supreme he is a class act and he'd be much shorter if it wasn't for WPM fever.

Seebright in the last at Kempton on Boxing Day, will have been off the course 580 days, always runs well fresh and quite often wins, no problems racing right handed.

Sprinter Sacre looks the right price to me..just based on last run..175..and will probably better that this run..whats up agin him?..SDG..169 at best nowadays..Somersby..got 14 to find...VV,,rated 162. A horse that probably has 10+ in hand..if it were a handicap ..with a snip like that in it..would be a similar price

why would he be a lay? His biggest oppo ..sdg..had a hard race last time and virtually walked home at Sandown..the trainer stated that meeting was his Cheltenham..hardly likely to be primed again for this

can't see a reason to lay him tbh

same as last season, 12 len ahead of Somersby on his return, in 2nd to DB, I and others thought yey he'll only need to improve 5-10 pounds to win CC, which he'll do.. place bet(generous odds at leaest).. PU.. Now back 14 len ahead of Somersby, 1/2 against SDG who just won the Tingle Creek.. should be 11/4 5/2, not 1/2.. until he shows he's really back by putting similar performances back to back..

he should be your lay of the season if you think he is an 11/4 shot..good luck with it

you don't get to see if he backs to back this season yet..your money has gone by that point

expecting same to happen as last season isn't logical..seeing as he never put a figure up like his last run last season

best of luck though..i'll just watch
