tbh I visit all the ones in the Poll, and others, just for interest , but none of them to "study form". ATR has the best tracker for the TTF so tend to have that tab open all the time during the Winter.

They are all blocked in my work which is where I do most of my browsing - Sporting Life just recently changed to blocked - so if there is something that has been altered, get it unaltered tout-suite!!

I would make it a rule to quit a job that is restrictive in anything personal because at the end of day you spend more time at work than anywhere else. Ask first to unblock you and then quit.

I guess you’ve moved around a fair bit in your career then

ATR and Sporting Life for me

If moving around keeps you from becoming a slave, then sure do it if/when you have an option. If you think restriction of personal nature is not a form of slavery then think again. They'd also save money firing that sysadmin that does nothing but spy on you and blocking websites.

I use ATR for video replays, and irishracing for results and a first look at race cards. I then use the Racing Post for races I want to concentrate on.

I know a lot of you hate the RP, and I've had my frustrations with them too, the latest being their very heavy and slow logging in procedure, but their database holds a lot of information that can't be got elsewhere.

Can you instal TOR browser........I used to use it in Thailand and could visit any site blocked or otherwise

I used the Sporting Life for years and only used the RP to check if horses had run in ptp or races abroad

The sporting Life you could see everything at a glance and get an immediate feel for the race but now it's a nightmare spread out like monday's washing.

ATR is what I use everyday now and must say the layout is excellent and you can see the entire field up to about 15 runners without scrolling.

Good for us old guys who forget what we just looked at if we have to scroll down ;)

anything tied to gambling is restricted in work for me now except ATR and sportling life

Any workarounds, most appreciated

Try downloading the Geeks Toy you get 14 days free trial...as it is a ro-BOT it I believe connects you straight to the exchange and bypass's normall betfair's URL.

Cost you nowts to find out if you can download it...the desktop shortcut does say Geek Toy (betfair) but you can rename it or hide it among your porn movies lol

I also use ATR for replays but just discovered (didn't know) that Betfair cover all the courses and you can pretty much replay any race.

Even though the racing post has turned into a pile of **** it still is the only real site realistically you could use to complete 4/5 cards in aday, the other sites are just unusable for that amount of work and in comparison the post is just far quicker still, even though a lot slower than iot was previously,it's a catch 22.At the races ruined their site,it was far quicker to use than the post even though very basic I used to do the form on it just for pure speed, then it got changed became ridiculous wouldn't even consider trying to do one race on it now
far to long winded..

It's interesting that less than half of us now use the Racing Post as our go to site. I reckon not so long ago it would have been close to 100%. It just shows how much their traffic must have have fallen.

What I don't understand is how the 42% that do are able to still post here, and haven't thrown their computer out of the window in shear frustration.

I'm pretty thorough in my race study, and I genuinely find what I need elsewhere these days and have lost nothing by not using it any more. I use Irish racingfor form study and ATR/Betfair for replays. So can I ask why those of you that still use it stick with it? Is it through familiarity, or is it because you don't believe you can get what you need elsewhere? And if so what is it that you need that you can only get from the RP?

RP is the only one for someone trying to study the form properly, it is mile in front of the rest

it has a problem that many people dont want, like most good things in life you have to pay!!
