Why...................

The appropriate flag for Eurovision would be the Union Jack.

I have positions on Argentina, France, Czech Republic and Spain for the World Cup, i was toying with having a flag of each hanging out of my car windows, but on reflection said windows would remain intact for about as long as my back window did when i drove round Liverpool with my Man Utd nodding dog on the back shelf.

I was just jesting about the flag and eurovision etc.

There seem to be more flag users then ever and the flags are getting bigger too.

No doubt as the tournament progresses, the flags will soon end up in the gutter. :D

Yes, possibly after England's first game Diminuendo!

I must admit, I am looking forward to watching England play and have already asked the boss if we can get a TV licence to cover a TV in the office. B)

I am sure the TV licence inspector's will be turning up all over the place looking for people that are watching unlicensed TV's.

It may be worth bearing this in mind if your office is allowing you to bring a TV in to watch The World Cup.

Mr GG will not allow any flags to be adorned on our cars. If I so much as mentioned it I'd be bored to death with a lecture on aerodynamics and fuel wastage

Call themselves patriots with those poxy little flags - get out there and paint the whole damn car, you wimps!

I was musing about this to myself, waiting for the lights to change. I'd been thinking about why are our cars so terribly dull in their plumage? Okay, Seat seems to have gone a bit bonkers with a canary yellow option, but overall car colours haven't moved on for years. I want to see animal skin prints, camouflage, Chinese carpet designs, willow patterns, mural styles, spray can art styles, multi-spots and stripes, paisley, abstract, geometrics... and then whisking past me goes a little Ford Fiesta covered from top to hubs in seashore pebbles! A local estate agency's pride and joy, and jolly cheerful it looked, too. Come on, let's petition for something a bit more futuristic than a couple of 'wheels on fire' mudguards!

Not really suitable for dodgy trips.................did you get the registration?.........no, but it was a rather daring pink with purple fashes!!

You might also have a little difficulty selling it on.

Will this one do?
