Starting this one for horses people think can rattle up a sequence of wins during the flat season. I'll kick off with Nazreef who I was very impressed with the other day at Kempton. Clearly where the trainer decides to pitch him next will play a role in whether he can keep winning or not, but on what we know I think he's one to follow. Looks so well handicapped and as a horse who it now appears wants to bowl along in front, I think it could be harder for the handicapper to get him.

Get the Sir Mark Prescott types on early on this thread:)

Teacher for William Haggas. This either wins about six handicaps this year, or runs once and is sold on sharpish.

Diplomat for Dermot Weld off of 82. His form looks better than ever given MacBeth winning at Gowran Park on Thursday. He ran the 101 rated Tower Rock (runs tomorrow in a Group 3) to 3/4l last season with MacBeth a nse back in 3rd. He's run once this year when sent off at odds on at Linerick but no horse seemed to benefit from a positive ride on the card and I'm willing yo fogey that run. He was only beaten over 2 lengths and have winner was given a mark of 90. I can see him either winning 2 or three handicaps or having his mark minded for a pot at Galway.

Bump..Nazreef runs in spring mile on Saturday.

Still hoping forum members will be able to add to this thread with a few more possible candidates. Not sure what to make about David Johnsons selection, Teacher. Just checked it's form and It appears DJ could be on the wind up. OR 41 after being tailed off in every run.

Exactly. It is either utterly useless and will run once to prove the point and then be sold, or it is very well handicapped and will win 6 on the bounce.

It seems a bit too extreme to me Zenyatta. Being totally useless or a 6 time on the bounce handicap winner.

Even Sir Mark would be proud of pulling it off...To be honest I was thinking of horses that have shown some form, whether winning a race or even being placed as Slim Chances pick Diplomat has.

I guess the only indicators we have of Teachers improvement are that he's owned by Highclere and trained by Haggas.

I'm just hearing those famous words of John McEnroes repeating over and over in my head. Fair play though, people can choose what they want.:)

Pallasator - Sir Mark Prescott.

He ran on nicely, on debut, to be 4th, and will need to run twice more before getting a rating. I think this horse could run up a sequence once handicapping over middle distances.

His half sister, Elas Diamond, was 2nd to Blue Bunting in a 1m Listed race at Newmarket before being reiterd to stud.

Marble - pretty sure David wasn't taking the ****; Teacher is included in Timeform's Horses To Follow.

So a horse rated 45 and beaten a total of 59 lengths on it's last three starts is backed into 6/4f and gets beaten 60l.

Wish I'd seen this thread yesterday. Dutching the next 3 in the betting paid 11/4.....

ENTERED RACE ENTERED FOR THE FOLLOWING RACES

1Aug12 6:00 (Overnight) at Galway, Tote Trifecta Rollover Handicap

Hope it wins for you. Be good for someone to get one of these. They must be planning another hurdling campaign for my one Nazreef.

I respect your opinion Barry but I almost have to play despite the draw. The emotional trauma of him winning unbacked would have me tilting...

and Bulbul runs on Thursday...

My GG alert tells me the horse runs tonight in the 7:15 at windsor after a lay off since last poor run. They reckon he's an all weather horse who doesn't act on turf but I'm not sure. The horse is only 5, not old for a handicapper and hasn't run that many times on turf to make bombproof conclusions. Be interested to see what happens.

I have backed Nazreef for the Silver Cambridgeshire today, 20lb lower on turf than A.W. 40-1.

Just notched up his hat-trick :)
