Woman Loses Case

Phil, read Brian's post above yours where he referred to Trolls that set out to spoil forums.

Which area of law are you taking ?

At this precise moment I am studying criminal law, I just spent three months studying constitutional and administrative law and found it to be the hardest topic I have ever had the misfortune to come across.

Criminal law will take me to the end of my course in September, the end of year exam is in October. The name of the course is Law: The Individual and the State and it is worth 60 points. I need 360 points to achieve the degree. There are four compulsory courses required in order to count towards a law degree, taking in business law, land and contract law and the basics of law. There are also a couple of new courses that are worth 30 points, one of which is Employment Law which begins in November. I intend to do the Employment Law course then and go straight into one of the other 60 point courses next February. If I am able to achieve the 360 points, I hope to do so in 4 years instead of 6.

The strange thing is, although I need 360 points to achieve a degree, only 300 points are available to me via law courses. I will have to do a bricklaying course worth 30 points and a cookery course worth 30 points to get to the finishing line.

What about family law ?
More and more couples getting divorced and the vultures cannot cope.
£140 per hour + VAT for not much more than following procedures.
No need for principles or any of that rubbish !

The price quoted is an average where I am but £200 + darn sarf

If I was choosing which type of law I want to concentrate on, it will no doubt be criminal.

I'm not doing this for money (probably the most popular statement amongst all law students before ending up doing the opposite, but I believe I mean it), I want to genuinely help those who need help.

So it is a vocation ? which I have heard on here before...

Much of the criminal element was born out of broken homes and deprivation ( so they say ) whether it be financial or a family break up so, why not aim your energies at source and concentrate on family councelling. on a voluntary basis ?

You know what, Phil?? I actually agree with you unequivocally when it comes to our beloved Singspiel/Jejquade/Joanna or whatever she wants to call herself.

Oh, & Jejquade? Do me a favour - did you really think that I would accept jejquade@hotmail onto my list of messenger contacts????!!!!!!!
