Returned home half cut to be greeted by these jokers when i tuned in to the replay of tonight`s show. Presumably it`s patriotic jocks keeping them in - can`t be their looks or vocal prowess. Fucking awful.
 
Sorry for not answering Harry, only just seen that you ask.

My lottery ticket reference was because I think the whole show is a lottery and more about the three judges than the contestants.
No doubt you will have seen that it is not necessarily the worst performer being eliminated each week by the public and if one of the judges has the deciding vote, they will be usually subjective.

It could be that your choice, Eton Rd may have fallen foul of the entry regs and two of them were actually under management before the show started :huh:

I wish you luck with your bet but personally would not have wagered that amount on what I see as a lottery.
 
I should say I don't watch this drivel, but have become aware through the wider media of some highly amusing Scottish plot job being organised North of Hadrians Wall. Did anyone notice the name of the first race at Ayr today? :lol:

RUK even panned the camera onto a couple of ppl in the paddock before the race that were apparently their parents.
 
They will never allow Louis to lose all the runners from his stable. What you want are odds on the fianl three being one from each mentor - that's the way it goes.

Well after watching tonights show, leona i thought, was outstanding, streets ahead of anyone else. The Mariah Carey song was excellent. As much as I like Ben and thought he should win, and he too was excellent tonight, he wasn't close to Leona!
 
Surely they got rid of the Macdonal Brothers tonight no matter how many times Desert Orchid and simmo voted for them.

I got on at 7.2 on Betfair before she sung her first song, and If she doesn't win I'll start watching cricket.

And how that Ray twat is still on the show is one of life's great mysteries, he's ferking awful.
 
I would agree about Ray up until the last few weeks, thought in particular his Sinatra song this week was pretty good. I think Ben is very very over rated.
 
Watching a 19yo (?) sing My Way was like watching John Lennon sing about no posessions in his huge mansion.
 
Yes, I wish singers would sing songs appropriate to their lives, too. I'm reminded of this every 'Irish Day' at Fontwell Park, with 20 'Oirish Ro-verrrz' caterwauling in their suits and shiny shoes.

I haven't even heard them (thankfully by the looks of things) as the programme coincides with my weekly Jings Crivens Help Ma Boab Send Them Homewards Tae Think Again Meeting on the Saturday and my Cooking With Shortbread, Haggis And Tartan Meeting on Sunday.

The winner has been known for quite a while. The song that they have prepared for the winner to sing is a girl's song (and which will be the Christmas number one) and guess who has been booked on to chat shows both here and in the USA for some time?
 
That went wrong for them once before when Will Young upset GG in the public vote - they are much better at rigging things nowadays .
