I'll be keeping an eye on Bergerac in future. Nothing went right for him in the first race.
Missed the break, never really got a clear run till it was all over. Travelled pretty strongly throughout + came under minimal pressure, to grab 6th at the end.

Could it have been benefiting, if that's the word, from a pace collapse?
 
Just keeps getting worse, enough is enough that was never going to win at any stage :( I have more than enough on City of Troy 11/2 to start laying him bit by bit and make a very healthy profit between now and Derby Day...........It will go along way to recovering some losses if I can get matched.....no more betting until after Derby Day for me..........happy punting guys

Entirely possible, as he's not that well handicapped + the trainer does tend to get them ready for this meeting.
I did like the way he travelled, so I think he's in good heart. An attempt at consolation may be round the corner.
