As some of you may know I'm a bit of an Oasis fanatic and the amount of quality clips on you tube is mind blowing. I have a mate that would appreciate seeing it. Is there any way I can burn it onto a couple of CD's?

Yes. I had to do this the other day for a client but it isn't easy.
There may be some freeware programs kicking around that do it simply that people know about?
If not I will post up the step-by-steps (oh and you will need a copy of Flash MX - should be a free trial somewhere on the Adobe website.)

This site apparantly allows you to download as a .flv (Flash Video) file:

Then you just need a media player that supports Flash Video. Try:
