Decent winning day and the weekend has at least proved a good end to an overall losing week.
In other news, acting on the advice of a younger lady friend (of who I frankly have quite a few - not actually difficult when you're 63, as most people I know, of either gender, are younger than me) I decided to construct my own version of "Overnight Oats."
A cup of oats, a cup of skimmed milk, half a cup of green yoghurt, two diced bananas and two teaspoons of honey later, I have a frankly stupendous item on my hands (well, in my fridge).
You magnificent healthy bastard, Ian!

Super Saturday indeed. Charlotte Church is 40 today. She will no doubt be spending her big day at Chepstow. If only there was somebody available at short notice to walk the course - barefoot - with her before racing and then provide the tricast on the Pertemps Hurdle Qualifier.

Oh, and in football betting news, Folkestone Invicta and East Kilbride both won.
Just celebrated with the House Special at my local Chinese takeaway - really nice people, really nice food - before seeing my only bet on the AW win decisively.

Hard work (when isn't it?) so far this year, can't really get ahead as yet, and January overall was better than February is so far.
But the things across all my activity I'm happy with outnumber the things I'm unhappy with, so I'm feeling net positive.

System Bet, AW Data Model, have sorted out and organised a Manual Bet at double-digits odds, two Hunters' Chases of interest AND I've been given a horse....what fun!
Did a bit of a food shop today, got the ingredients for my next iteration of "Overnight Oats," (my younger lady friend was suitably impressed when I told her about version 1.0 earlier this evening) but sad to say I still can't get off the pancakes and I shamefully bought 12 more and there's already only ten left.
