Your Global Footprint

4.7 but that does take into account the school run, which I really have to do... get one ten mins to drive 2 miles in ten mins to get the other. Next year I'll score better... Honest mum. :o

And no I dont have a huge 4x4. Although if someones willing to give me one I wont refuse, oh and the make up classes that most of the mums obviously go that stand around in huddles at the school gates... much appreciated.

I think a large proportion of that was due to the inability to accurately give my average hours on a plane. Instead of 60 (which would be about accurate for the last 12 months) I put 100. Also there is precious little local produce in Gib (at least until local kebab shop starts making Monkeyburgers) and almost everything arrives from the UK on a lorry.

So apparently we'd need 3.8 planets if everyone lived like me.

Fortunately not everyone does, so that's ok.

Hey, you've got a riding horse, Madam - give up that non-urban 4x4 and jaunt into Welly on yer grey mare!

10.2 or something silly - which is crazy

I'm one of the most ecologically aware people I know
I know I drive a lot - all people who go racing do! - but I didn't learn till I was 40!!
I don't eat much meat, don't overheat the flat, cook from scratch inc lots of pasta and pulses etc, waste NOTHING, and buy almost evereything like shoes etc 2ndhand from eg Oxfam

Bah

They've made me feel guilty about taking flights in aeroplanes
The EU environment agency said that aviation accounts for only 2% of CO2 emissions so don't feel too bad. In fact, by 2050, it's estimated that aviation will account for only 5% of all greenhouse gases.

I've just bought a flight from Stansted to Frankfurt for £5 including taxes though.

5.4 for me. If everyone lived like me, we'd need 3 planets apparently.
