You dissed my Polos - I even got the sugar-free ones. I don't take rejection well.
There there.......there there.

I'll be straight with with you, the only reason I rejected your Polos is because I'm participating in a worldwide boycott of Nestle products.

What with their killing babies with irresponsible marketing!

If you can tell me who the horny horse was in the ad you gave me, then we'll call it quits. How does that sound?

I've never sung at a karaoke. I sometimes sing along in the car just in case I get roped into doing it some time but modern singers all seem a key or two too high for me.

I can manage 'Yesterday' and 'Something' and a number of Francis Albert/Deano croons but I'm lost with a lot of the pop songs of the last 30 years.

Haven't ever participated in karaoke. I sing very loudly in the car with the children though.

I`d have to be leathered, but for me:

Radiohead - No Surpises
Johnny Cash - Hurt
Pearl Jam - Rearviewmirror
AC/DC - Downpayment Blues
Stone Roses - Made of Stone

I was pressganged into going to a pub with a karaoke section once. That was one experience too many. People actually take it quite seriously, I found, as I was forced to stifle hysterics when a couple of 'really shouldn't haves' did their gut-busting best. "Oh, at least they're trying," cooed my besotted friends. Yes, they are - very trying indeed.

A song I like to sing is Saturday Night by a very good group called Whigfield. I know the words off by heart and don't need to see the screen.

Jeez - had a panic on thinking I'd posted without remembering so must've been arseholed when I wasn't!!!!!

Anyhow, there are a few I can sing okish - I have a deep singing voice [for a bird!!!!!] - the likes of American Pie (get in there!!!!!), Life (Desree), Wherever You Will Go (The Calling), Babylon (David Gray), Your Song (Elton John).

I like Toto's 'Africa', Pro - do you have the words for it, if you sing it? My car tape player just went fizzlephut this week, slurring all the tapes, so I may be reduced to playsheets next to me in the car!
